Looking for a person who has itch for object-oriented PHP, scalable Web applications, hacking up prototypes, rapid user testing, and real product ownership.
Being a startup we need someone who feels comfortable developing with a wide range of technologies and can learn rapidly. If you can pick up a technology/language in a weekend you’re who we're looking for.
You tend to avoid the complex for straightforward and can explain easy in plain english, have an insatiable appetite for getting things done and are driven by the results
Are a quick learner and willing to take on any challenge, regardless of deep experience.
Skills
Expertise with PHP and MySQL
Expertise with CSS, AJAX, Javascript and frameworks such as jQuery
Expertise working in open-source LAMP workplace
Expertise with version control (SVN)
Experience in building a scalable API
understanding of web standards and cross-browser compatibility
Experience and interest in high performance, scalable systems
Experience developing for Mobile devices an uber plus
