The Team:
The Global Desktop Support Team at Brevan Howard is a critical pillar of the firm’s technology platform, ensuring uninterrupted performance for portfolio managers, their pods, executives, and users across a highly distributed,
latency-sensitive hedge fund environment.
The Bangalore office is a significant and growing hub for the firm, home to a wide range of middle and back office functions including operations, and technology. This role sits within the Global Desktop Support Team, reporting into the Bangalore Desktop Support Lead, and is the primary technology support presence for the local office.
Unlike the firm’s trading hubs, Bangalore does not have a local front office or investment staff. However, this role carries a clear responsibility to support portfolio managers and front office users in other global locations remotely — via remote desktop tooling, screen sharing, and close coordination with on-site engineers in those hubs. The ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently without being physically present is therefore a genuine and key part of the job.
