THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
As a Junior AI / Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building the backend services and agent pipelines that make LLM outputs reliable, structured, and secure to use in production. Your work will sit at the foundation of every agent capability we ship.
This is systems engineering around AI models
WHAT YOU WILL DO
API Development: Design and maintain FastAPI services that expose agent capabilities as clean, versioned APIs.
Agent Pipelines: Build LangChain orchestration pipelines with structured I/O contracts, retry logic, and fallback handling.
Cloud Infrastructure: Work with Azure infrastructure including Azure OpenAI Service, Blob Storage, and Container Apps.




Output Reliability: Implement output validation and schema enforcement layers that make LLM responses trustworthy enough for production use.
Codebase Contribution: Write code that your teammates can read, review, and build on without friction.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Required
– 1-3 years of Python development with at least one production deployment behind you.
– Solid grasp of async Python and REST API design, with the debugging instincts to match.
– Hands-on experience with LangChain or a comparable LLM orchestration library.
– Working knowledge of Azure: OpenAI Service, Blob Storage, and App Service or Container Apps.
– You understand why output validation, structured schemas, and retry logic matter in production — not just that they exist.
– Comfortable working in a shared codebase with other engineers.
Preferred
– Pydantic for structured output parsing and schema validation.
