Compliance, Auditing & Documentation
Develop, implement, and maintain the plant's quality management system, including quality plans and control procedures, in line with objectives and standards like BIS, ISO 9001.
Conduct regular internal audits and inspections of processes and outputs to identify mistakes or non-conformity issues.
Ensure that all lab records and quality-related documentation are properly maintained and up-to-date for root-cause analysis and traceability of quality issues to specific production batches.
Maintain a robust working relationship with external regulatory bodies and stakeholders, such as the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

Team Management & Development
Define daily workflows, schedules, and quality procedures for the department.

Foster a culture of safety and compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards within the QC department.

Problem Solving & Improvement
Investigate and resolve product quality issues and customer complaints by identifying and removing the causes of defects and minimizing variability in manufacturing.
