Travel + Leisure India is searching for talented web story creators with two to three years of experience covering travel and food across the world. Reporting to the Senior Editor – Digital Growth the candidate will ideate and create high-quality web stories (available on Google Discover) daily for our readers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Independently coming up with web story ideas and angles for the different verticals (mainly travel, news and food&dining;) keeping aspects like brand positioning and traffic generation in mind
Creating daily, SEO-friendly online web stories that are relevant to our audience
Reacting to news events and pushing out timely breaking news
Following and analysing competitors on websites and social media

QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent writing and communication skills in English
Working knowledge of image editing software
Keen interest, knowledge, and contacts in the world of travel; knowledge of the regional travel and wellness landscape is a plus
Possess 2+ years’ experience in digital media in India
Detail-oriented, resourceful and can work quick under daily deadlines




Knowledge of the food scene in major cities in India and contacts to travel agencies
Experience using CMS such as Wordpress
Knowledge of analytics tools such as Chartbeat and Google Analytics
Experience in working with digital KPIs (engagement, reach) and knowledge how to improve them
