Job Description : - 5+ years of overall experience in designing and implementing large scale data processing systems / products based out of Java, Python and other Open Source systems- Hands on experience in integrating various data sources such as SAP, Oracle, NoSQL systems into a Azure cloud Data Platform- Hands-on experience in Query (programming), Pipeline creation in Azure cloud environment- Extensive experience in data modeling and database design involving any combination of Source systems, Databases, Data warehousing and Business Intelligence systems and tools- Strong understanding of Big Data platforms and ETL /ELT in the context of Big Data- Valuable experience in building and deploying Data Solutions in Azure ecosystem. Cloud-knowledge like for AWS, GCP,



and SAP is an added advantage.- Architecture and design experience working with cloud or hybrid cloud focused on Big Data/MPP analytics platform (eg. Synapse)- Experience and thorough understanding of data wrangling and data processing languages and tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, SQL, Python and Scala is required- Experience with a broad range of data stores - Relational databases (like Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL), Object stores (Azure ADLS, HDFS, GCP Cloud Storage), Row and Columnar databases (Azure SQL DW, SQL Server, Snowflake, Teradata, PostgresSQL, Oracle), NoSQL databases (Mongo, Cassandra), ElasticSearch, Redis, and Data processing platforms - Spark, Databricks, and SnowSQL- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a growing, dynamic team- Energy, drive and passion to work, and operate in a digital world- Ability to operate in a start-up mentality and growing environment- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work in cross-functional teams (ref:hirist.com)
