Responsibilities:
Perform telecom nodes troubleshooting to assure high levels of stability, reliability, and availability of the Managed Connectivity services. Diagnose end to end Managed Connectivity related issues. Monitor the Semtech Global NOC – 20%
Perform first-tier troubleshooting using tools and utilities to resolve system/network performance and related system/network issues. Configure, optimize, and fine-tune monitoring systems. As the first line of defense, you will monitor systems and validate alerts using our array of monitoring tools. – 20%
Coordinate and implement network, software and hardware upgrades with the Network Operations and Development teams. Work with the Network Operations team and Application Support Engineers to ensure maximum uptime of the system. – 20%
Proactively work to refine documentation of systems/network, automate processes, troubleshooting guides, policies, and procedures. Mentor the junior members in the team. Participate in external calls with our partners to troubleshoot and diagnose issues. Take ownership of Incident Management when needed – 20%




Take ownership of multiple nodes health and identify and implement recent processes to improve on uptime and SLAs – 20%

Minimum Qualifications:
B. Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Telecom or related fields.
12+ years’ experience
Schedule flexibility with ability to work non-standard business hours.
Must have worked in a GNOC role earlier.
Robust knowledge in telecom and networking products (MSC, HLR, VLR, PGW, Radius, DEA/STP, VPNs, Routers, Switches etc)
Strong understanding of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G, nodes.
Robust troubleshooting skills.
A keen analytical and structured approach to problem solving.
A dedication to customer satisfaction.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to work independently.

Desired Qualifications
Excellent documentation skills.
Familiarity with various monitoring tools such as Kibana, Nagios, Graphite etc. will be an added advantage
Knowledge on AI and ML usage in data analytics will be an added advantage
