The Senior Manager – Business Development (CMO) will be responsible for driving domestic business growth for nutraceutical contract manufacturing by acquiring recent clients, expanding existing partnerships, and building a sustainable and profitable business pipeline. The role focuses on client acquisition, portfolio expansion, and commercial excellence within the CMO landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Drive and scale domestic business development initiatives for nutraceutical formulations within the contract manufacturing domain.
Identify, engage, and onboard recent domestic clients for contract manufacturing and in-licensing opportunities.
Present existing product portfolios and develop new formulation concepts aligned with client therapy focus and market presence.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends.
Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, product presentations, and commercial offers to prospective clients.
Lead end-to-end commercial discussions including pricing, margins, contract terms, and agreement finalization.
Ensure commercial feasibility, profitability, and long-term value of all client engagements and contracts.
Drive revenue growth through current client acquisition and by introducing additional products to existing clients.
Collaborate with internal teams such as R&D;, regulatory, and manufacturing to ensure timely and compliant execution of client requirements.
