Lead and manage the execution of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I;) works across assigned projects in Vadodara.
Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and accurate implementation of E&I; systems.
Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and specifications related to E&I; installations.
Supervise field activities, including cable laying, termination, testing, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE, ISA), company policies, and safety regulations (OSHA, ISO 45001).
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor quality, progress, and adherence to project timelines.
Manage E&I; subcontractors, including performance evaluation, resource allocation, and issue resolution.
Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to senior management.
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize system performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
5–10 years of progressive experience in E&I; execution within industrial or process plant environments.
Proven experience in managing E&I; projects from concept to commissioning, including design review, procurement, installation, and testing.
Solid knowledge of electrical systems (power distribution, motors, control panels) and instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, DCS/PLC systems).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs;, single -line diagrams, loop diagrams).
Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6) and documentation systems.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem -solving skills with the ability to work in a fast -paced, team -oriented setting.
Valid safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent) and a robust commitment to safety -first culture.
Willingness to work on -site in Vadodara and travel as required for project support.
