Familiarity with Examiner & Title closing, closing packages, title documentation, and lien release processes

Roles and Responsibilities :
1.Closing Package Review :-Verify completeness and accuracy of signed closing documents, Ensure all required signatures, dates, and notary seals are present. ,Confirm that documents meet investor and regulatory guidelines.
2.Scan Back Review :-Review scanned closing packages received from title companies or settlement agents. Identify and resolve any missing or incorrect documents before final submission.
3.Document Audit :-Conduct thorough audits of loan files to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.



Flag discrepancies and coordinate with closing, funding, or title teams for resolution.
4.Closing Disclosure (CD) Preparation :-Prepare and validate final CDs for accuracy in fees, credits, and disbursements. Ensure CDs are compliant with TRID regulations and delivered within required timelines.
5.Payoff Processing :-Review and confirm payoff statements from previous lenders. Ensure accurate disbursement of payoff amounts and timely release of liens.
6.Escrow Holds Management :-Monitor and track escrow holdbacks for repairs or other conditions. Coordinate with title companies and borrowers to ensure timely release of held funds.
7.Refund Check Processing:-Identify over payments or fee adjustments requiring refunds. Process and track refund checks to borrowers or third parties. Maintain accurate records of all refund transactions.
