We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, validating, and optimizing electrical models and simulations for various electrical systems and electrical products. This role requires a robust understanding of electrical engineering principles and proficiency with Matlab / Simulink simulation tools. PSCAD experience is a plus. The successful candidate will be able to work directly with customers and internal design teams to understand and define the problems statement and scope of work.

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with expertise in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) modeling and simulation using OPAL-RT. The HIL Simulation Engineer will develop reusable software and hardware solutions to support multiple Product Lines, ensuring robust and scalable designs.
This role requires proficiency in Matlab/Simulink and the ability to collaborate closely with internal design teams to meet Product Line HIL requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills, a passion for innovation, and experience in creating advanced simulation environments that accelerate product development and validation..
Responsibilities
- Model Development: Develop and maintain detailed electrical models for components and systems using Matlab / Simulink simulation software.
- Simulation and Analysis: Conduct simulations to predict the behavior and performance of electrical systems under various conditions. Analyze results to identify potential issues and optimize designs.
