FOS Team Lead – Job Description

Role Overview
The FOS Team Lead is responsible for supervising and managing a team of Field Officers to ensure effective execution of field operations such as collections, sales visits, verifications, or recoveries, depending on business requirements. The role focuses on driving productivity, ensuring compliance, and achieving assigned targets while maintaining quality and customer conduct standards.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Field Officers (FOS) to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Allocate daily field routes, cases, or accounts and monitor execution on the ground.
Track team performance through MIS, dashboards, and field reports; take corrective actions where required.
Conduct daily briefings, reviews, and periodic training sessions for skill and performance improvement.
Accompany Field Officers on joint visits for coaching, audits, and resolution of difficult cases.
Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical field practices.
Handle escalations from customers, local authorities, or internal stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Credit, Risk, and Compliance for issue resolution.




Validate field data, visit outcomes, documentation, and ensure timely system updates.
Monitor attendance, leave, discipline, and attrition within the team.
Support onboarding and training of recent Field Officers.
Ensure safety, conduct, and qualified behavior of the team in the field.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Target achievement (collections, sales, recoveries, or assigned metrics).
Productivity per Field Officer.
Quality scores and compliance adherence.
Reduction in escalations, complaints, and operational errors.
Timeliness and accuracy of reporting.
