Key Responsibilities:
4+ years of experience in Cognos development.
2+ years of experience in Unix Shell scripting.
Solid experience with SQL.
Must have of experience in supporting Cognos 7, 10.x and 11 environments.
Supporting software Installation and configurations and applying patches.
Integrating Cognos with various back-end databases such as Teradata,
Oracle, MSSQL, DB2 and Hadoop.
Integrating Cognos with various web servers such as IIS, OHS or Apache.
Integration between Cognos Business Intelligence components.
Performance monitoring and tuning of the system including web servers.
Implementing single sign-on.
Upgrading Cognos versions (planning upgrade to v11).
Cognos Disaster Recovery and backup/restore processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills.
