What You’ll Do
Own and execute video editing across a wide range of formats: explainer videos, product demos, founder thought-leadership clips, social media content, and promotional campaigns.
Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with Emergent’s brand voice and storytelling.
Adapt content for multiple platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), ensuring each cut is optimized for the channel.
Collaborate with content, marketing, and design teams to bring creative ideas to life.
Add motion graphics, text overlays, and animations to enhance engagement and clarity.
Maintain consistency in look, feel, and tone across all video assets.
Manage timelines and workflows, ensuring fast turnaround without compromising quality.
Stay up to date on video trends, editing techniques, and platform-specific best practices to keep Emergent’s video presence fresh and creative.

What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of qualified video editing experience, ideally in SaaS, tech,



or B2B content environments.
Strong command of editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Experience with motion graphics and animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Blender).
Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging narratives.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver high-quality work on tight timelines.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with founders, product, and marketing teams.

Valuable to Have
Experience editing short-form vertical content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
Familiarity with audio editing and sound design.
Knowledge of color grading and advanced post-production workflows.
Prior work in high-growth startups or fast-paced creative environments.
