Role: Application Security Engineer
Experience: 3+ Years
Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Noida
Qualification: BE/B.Tech/MCA

Key Responsibilities
Perform manual and automated SAST, SCA, and DAST assessments.
Design and implement secure DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines using open-source tools.
Integrate security controls such as Secret Scanning, SAST, SCA, DAST, IaC Security, Compliance as Code, and Vulnerability Management into CI/CD pipelines.
Conduct security assessments for web applications and APIs.
Drive Shift Left Security initiatives and promote Secure SDLC practices.
Collaborate with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities and implement secure coding practices.
Develop automation solutions to improve application security processes.
Optimize security testing tools and pipelines to maximize efficiency.

Required Skills
3+ years of experience in Application Security, SAST, SCA, DAST, and DevSecOps.
Experience with SAST tools such as Checkmarx, Fortify, Veracode,



Coverity, Snyk, or IBM AppScan Source.
Experience with DAST tools such as Burp Suite, Acunetix, HCL AppScan, or HP WebInspect.
Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket and CI/CD integrations.
Positive knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and Secure SDLC.
Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, Java, or Perl.
Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, or UNIX environments.
