Job Description: Data Engineer

Experience: 4 - 12 yrs.

The Role

2 skilled and experienced Snowflake Developer, data engineer. The candidate should have deep hands-on expertise in Snowflake platform development, with a strong focus on Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Search, and AI Agent development. The candidate will design and build intelligent data solutions that leverage Snowflake's latest AI and ML capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data pipelines, data models, and workflows.
Build and implement solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI features including LLM functions, text analytics, and AI-driven transformations
Develop and integrate Cortex Search capabilities to enable intelligent, semantic search experiences over structured and unstructured data
Build and deploy AI Agents that interact with Cortex Search to answer queries, retrieve relevant data, and automate intelligent workflows
Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Snowflake AI solutions
Leverage Snowflake AI development resources including Cortex ML functions, Snowpark, and related frameworks
Optimize query performance, resource utilization,



and virtual warehouse management
Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards across all Snowflake objects

Required Skills & Qualifications
4 12 years of hands-on experience as a Snowflake Developer Data Engineer
Robust experience with Snowflake Cortex AI, including built-in LLM functions
Hands-on experience with Cortex search, building search services, configuring semantic search, and integrating search into applications or agents
Experience building or working with AI Agents that leverage Cortex Search for intelligent retrieval and response generation
Proficiency in Snowpark (Python or Java) for advanced data processing and ML workflows
Solid SQL skills
Familiarity with RAG patterns
Experience with Streamlit for building AI-powered internal applications
Understanding of data security, role-based access control (RBAC), and governance in Snowflake

Positive to Have
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Knowledge of vector embeddings and semantic search concepts
Exposure to orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or dbtD
