Overview:

Sanmina is an electronics manufacturing & design company. Within Sanmina we have a division called Viking Enterprise Solutions and Viking designs & manufacturers high performance enterprise servers for hyperscalers & AI companies

The Sr. Software Test Engineer role sits on our team that writes code for manufacturing tests and manages automation for servers & network infrastructure products. This role is going to be heavily involved in writing code in python, and bash. We are also looking for someone who has experience debugging server hardware.

Preferred candidate profile

Must Haves:
Linux scripting experience with one of the following languages( Python, Shell, Bash, or PHP/JavaScript)
Must have experience debugging hardware, robust preference for server hardware debug experience.




Senior Level Candidates - typically 7+ years of experience
BS Degree in Computer Science, or Engineering
Software test setting experience

Nice to Haves:
Systems level and/or PCBA test experience - robust plus
Experience with manufacturing test and/or server hardware product/industry experience
Understanding of server hardware - cpus, motherboards, hardware components
Server/storage industry experience
Jira experience
Understanding of BIOS (Baseboard Input/Output Systems)
Understanding of BMC (Baseboard Management Controller)
