Job Summary
We're looking for an entry-level Linux System Administrator with strong foundational knowledge of Linux internals, the kernel, and system administration basics. This is a outstanding opportunity to build a career in HFT infrastructure, working alongside senior engineers on mission-critical, low-latency trading environments where performance is measured in microseconds. You'll start by supporting core Linux operations and gradually gain exposure to performance tuning, networking, and trading infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers (Ubuntu, Red Hat, and other distributions)
Support day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting,



and health checks of Linux systems
Learn and assist with system tuning basics (CPU affinity, kernel parameters, boot configuration) under senior guidance
Help maintain uptime and reliability of infrastructure through proactive monitoring
Write and maintain basic automation scripts (Bash, Python) for routine tasks
Apply OS patches, security updates, and system upgrades
Support monitoring tool setup and maintenance (Prometheus, Grafana)
Assist with basic storage administration and data management tasks
Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
Collaborate with senior sysadmins, developers, and quants to understand infrastructure needs
