Role SummaryThe Senior Manager, Cyber Security and Operations role leads, directs, and manages multiple teams providing technical support in protecting Vanguard's digital assets from all internal and external threats, overseeing cyber threat management, incident response, cybersecurity operations, and mitigation via cloud-based controls. The role also designs and tests secure systems,



conducts audits, manages intrusion detection, and implements disaster recovery strategies to enhance infrastructure and information security.

Responsibilites
1. Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
2. Oversees and manages the development and delivery of IT security standards and best practices. Oversees incident investigations and advanced incident handling scenarios, including internal and external data breaches, abnormal network and host activity, and risk assessment derived from platforms or data-lakes. Ensures infrastructure devices are securely configured, known vulnerabilities are reported and suspicious activities are detected, investigated and properly dispositioned.
