ORBCOMM is looking for a strategic and execution-focused technology leader to head our global VIACHAIN customer experience engineering organization. In this director role, you will lead the teams building and scaling customer-facing digital products across web, mobile, APIs, chat, and AI-enabled experiences.

This role is based in either our Hyderabad, India office or Sterling, U.S. office. We operate in a hybrid work environment, requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week onsite, with the option to work remotely two (2) days per week. With a hybrid schedule, you’ll be able to collaborate in person and build strong relationships with our team.
What you will do
- Lead the global VIACHAIN Experiences engineering organization across the Americas, Europe, and APAC,



driving a high-accountability, follow-the-sun operating model.
- Own engineering delivery and evolution of customer-facing applications and services spanning web, mobile, APIs, chat, self-service capabilities, and AI-enabled user experiences.
- Drive a unified customer experience strategy across ORBCOMM’s road, ocean, and rail workflows, balancing product innovation with operational excellence.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Data & AI, QA, PMO, Support, and executive leadership to prioritize roadmaps, reduce delivery friction, and improve customer outcomes.
- Build reliable, scalable, secure platforms with solid observability, automation, release discipline, and support readiness.
- Champion AI-first product experiences, agentic workflows, and data-driven insights that create value for customers and strengthen ORBCOMM’s competitive differentiation.
