Core Platform Exposure
Exposure to Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies,

Data Policies, ACLs, UI Actions, and Script Includes
Working knowledge of forms, lists, multiple views,

notifications, update sets, and troubleshooting basics
Familiarity with Service Catalogs, Record Producers,

Catalog Client Scripts, Catalog UI Policies, Inbound

Actions, Import Sets, and Transform Maps
Comfort with Scripted REST APIs, REST/SOAP

integrations, and JavaScript-based customization

Module Exposure
Knowledge of ITSM processes such as Incident,

Problem, Change, Request, SLA handling, routing, and

assignment groups
Exposure to SPM / ITBM concepts such as Ideas,

Demand, Projects, Project Tasks, and investment /

portfolio awareness
Basic understanding of CMDB including CIs, CI classes,

relationships, lifecycle, data quality, and

normalization awareness
Awareness of ITAM including assets, models, model

categories, stockrooms, allocation, receiving,

retirement, and asset-CI relationships
Additional exposure to FSM, Tanium,



Nuvolo, or other

enterprise integrations is a robust plus.

Key Responsibilities
Participate in requirement discussions with business users, stakeholders, project managers, and internal

teams.
Translate business needs into practical, scalable, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
Configure, customize, and develop ServiceNow solutions across modules and process areas.
Work across the complete SDLC including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, support,

and continuous enhancements.
Build and support integrations with third-party systems using REST APIs, Import Sets, Transform Maps,

and relevant platform capabilities.
Contribute ideas for automation, process simplification, user experience improvements, and creative

out-of-the-box solutioning.
Document implementation details, solution approaches, and technical knowledge as needed.
