Role & responsibilities
Lead end-to-end paint shop operations ensuring achievement of production, quality, cost, delivery, and safety objectives.
Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans aligned with business requirements.
Plan manpower deployment, skill mapping, training, and shift rotation to maximize productivity.
Control and optimize critical paint parameters to ensure process stability and consistent finish quality.
Supervise manual and robotic painting operations to achieve first-time-right quality.
Monitor paint consumption norms and implement initiatives for cost reduction and waste elimination.
Conduct paint defect analysis, root cause investigation, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate preventive maintenance of paint booths, ovens, robots, and utilities with maintenance teams.
