Role Purpose

The Presales Consultant is responsible for driving solution design and bid strategy for RFPs/RFIs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and organizational capabilities. This role acts as a bridge between sales and delivery teams, providing technical expertise and strategic guidance throughout the presales cycle.

Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret customer requirements, define scope, and identify solution components.
Prepare technical proposals, presentations, and pricing models tailored to client needs.
Conduct customer workshops, proof-of-concept (POC), and proof-of-value (POV) sessions.
Work closely with delivery teams for seamless handover and ensure governance during bid cycles.
Maintain adherence to internal approval processes and ensure all documentation meets quality standards.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing technical queries and supporting solution defense during bid evaluations.

Required Skills & Competencies
Solid understanding of ITSM, Observability & Monitoring Platforms, Cloud, and Enterprise Solutions.




Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple bids under tight timelines.
Familiarity with governance frameworks and risk mitigation in presales delivery.
Hands-on experience in at least one observability or automation tool such as Dynatrace, OpsRamp, Splunk, AppDynamics, ScienceLogic, or BMC.
Licensing knowledge around these tools.
Should be able to create the delivery timelines and efforts estimations.
Should be able to connect with the OEMs to define the SKUs & Bill-of-quantity (BOQ) required to fulfill the asks in the RFP.
Should be able to project the transformation journey to the customer, and the proposed solution perks.
Provided solution to be stitched with the overall RFP asks as a single solution.
Should have knowledge how the AI, GenAI & Automation will be placed in the overall solution. & responsibilities
