Role & responsibilities
Conduct commissioning, installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of oil & gas burners, boilers, heat exchangers, and thermal systems.
Perform periodic customer visits to support installed equipment, resolve technical issues, and strengthen customer relationships.
Identify and generate service opportunities including AMC contracts, retrofits, upgrades, and spare parts sales.
Coordinate with sales, service, and technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
Prepare service reports, maintenance records, root cause analysis reports, and other service documentation.
Provide technical guidance, preventive maintenance recommendations, and operational support to customers.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company service procedures.
Handle breakdown maintenance and emergency service support to minimize equipment downtime.
Support revenue growth through aftermarket service sales, spare recommendations, and system optimization initiatives.
Maintain long-term customer relationships to improve service retention, repeat business, and lifecycle value realization.

Preferred candidate profile




Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
512 years of experience in aftermarket service, field service, commissioning, installation, and maintenance of industrial heating or thermal equipment.
Hands-on experience with Oil & Gas Burners, Boilers, Heat Exchangers, and Process Heating Systems.
Solid troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve field issues independently.
Experience in aftermarket sales, spare parts sales, AMC generation, and service revenue development is preferred.
Good understanding of thermal systems, combustion equipment, and industrial utility operations.
Robust customer-facing, communication, and relationship management skills.
Proficient in preparing service reports, technical documentation, and root cause analysis reports.
Willingness to travel extensively and provide in office customer support across assigned regions.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple customer accounts and service assignments effectively.
