Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Executive to join our team at Specsmakers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing retail IT infrastructure, providing end-user support, and ensuring smooth functioning of systems across multiple store locations.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide hardware, software, and network support to retail stores and the head office.
System Maintenance: Install, configure, and troubleshoot POS systems, desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
Network Management: Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN connectivity, firewalls, and VPN connections between stores and the central server.
Data Backup: Ensure timely data backup, antivirus updates, and security compliance across systems.
Retail Application Support: Troubleshoot and maintain retail management systems, billing software, and ERP tools.
Asset Management: Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets and coordinate with vendors for procurement and AMC renewals.
User Training: Assist store staff in basic IT operations, including POS usage and troubleshooting common issues.
Coordination:



Work closely with internal departments and external vendors for IT project implementation and issue resolution.

Key Skills Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2 4 years of IT support experience in the retail or multi-location setting.
Solid knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, networking, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Familiarity with POS systems and ERP software (Retail Pro, Tally, or equivalent).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple support requests efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in retail chain IT operations.
Knowledge of CCTV systems, biometric attendance, and store connectivity setups.
Basic understanding of cloud-based tools and data security practices.
