Appian QA - (1 year Contract)

This role is for a Senior Appian QA Engineer (4+ years experience) who will be the quality gatekeeper for business process automation solutions. Youll be responsible for everything from analyzing requirements to ensuring that complex Appian components and third-party integrations work seamlessly before they hit production.

Here is the breakdown of what they are looking for:

Core Requirements
Experience: 4+ years in QA with a heavy focus on Appian BPM (specifically version 21.x or later).
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Appian-specific elements like SAIL interfaces, process models, CDTs, Records, and Sites.
Data & APIs: Robust proficiency in SQL (Oracle/MySQL) for data validation and Postman for REST/SOAP API testing.
Process: Mastery of the Agile/Scrum lifecycle, defect management in JIRA, and manual test case design.

Key Responsibilities




End-to-End Testing: Execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT cycles
Technical Validation: Check the "under the hood" Appian architecture, including plug-ins and connected systems
Collaboration: Work closely with Devs and BAs to perform root-cause analysis on defects and mentor junior testers
Release Management: Support app deployments, package imports/exports, and final production sign-offs

The "Bonus" Points
Certifications: Appian Level 1 or 2.

Automation: Experience with Selenium or Appian-specific automation tools.

DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Git).
