Role & responsibilities
Plan and manage endtoend engineering activities for assigned projects: requirements clarification, concept and detailed design, drawings/documents review, and technical support during procurement and execution.
Lead a small team of engineers/draftsmen, allocate tasks, provide technical guidance, and review deliverables for accuracy, compliance with standards, and constructability/manufacturability.
Ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and internal procedures; implement design checklists, QA/QC processes, and revision control for all engineering outputs.
Coordinate closely with project management, procurement, quality, construction/production, and clients to resolve technical issues and support timely decisions.
Monitor engineering progress against schedule and budget, highlight risks, and implement mitigation actions to keep work on track.
Support or lead technical evaluations of vendors, design change proposals, and valueengineering initiatives to optimise cost, performance, and reliability.
Mentor junior engineers through onthejob coaching, design reviews, and feedback,



helping build team capability.

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering
45 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 1–2 years in a lead/coordination capacity (lead engineer, senior engineer, or equivalent).

Handson experience with core engineering tools and software used in the discipline (e.g. CAD/CAE, design codes, or development stack for software roles).

Skills and competencies
Solid understanding of engineering principles in the relevant domain and ability to review and challenge designs and calculations.
Ability to translate project requirements into transparent engineering scopes, specifications, and work packages.
Robust peoplemanagement and coordination skills; able to motivate team members and manage conflicts while maintaining focus on delivery.
Valuable communication, documentation, and stakeholdermanagement skills; comfortable presenting technical decisions and tradeoffs to nontechnical stakeholders.
