Job Title: Finance & Payroll Operations Lead

Reporting To: Finance Controller / Director Finance Operations

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Payroll Operations Lead to manage end-to-end finance and payroll operations for assigned client accounts. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliant payroll processing, timely month-end closure, and excellent client service while supporting process improvements and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end finance and payroll operations for assigned clients.
Review bookkeeping, journal entries, General Ledger, reconciliations, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
Lead month-end close activities and ensure timely preparation of financial statements.
Prepare and review MIS reports, management dashboards, and financial analysis.
Oversee payroll processing, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Labour Laws), and payroll reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure timely service delivery.
Support process improvements,



automation initiatives, and ERP implementations.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to a team-oriented work workplace.

Qualifications & Experience
CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), M.Com, or B.Com with relevant experience.
3–4 years of experience in Finance and Payroll Operations.
Experience in Shared Services, Outsourced Accounting, BPO, GCC, or Consulting settings is preferred.
