Key Responsibilities
Develop current unit test cases using the Ceedling framework for embedded C software modules.
Enhance and maintain existing test suites to improve overall code coverage.
Analyze source code and identify uncovered execution paths.
Achieve and maintain 90% line coverage for assigned modules.
Generate and validate code coverage reports.
Review test cases and coverage results with software feature experts.
Debug and resolve test execution issues, stubs, mocks, and workplace-related problems.
Ensure test artifacts comply with customer-required formats and repository structures.
Support integration of unit testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
Maintain traceability between software requirements, source code, and test cases.
Required Technical Skills
Mandatory
Strong Embedded C programming experience.
Hands-on experience with Ceedling Unit Testing Framework.
Good understanding of:
Unit Testing
White-box Testing
Code Coverage Analysis
Static and Dynamic Testing
Experience generating and analyzing:
Line Coverage
Function Coverage
Branch Coverage
Familiarity with embedded software architectures.
Experience in Linux-based development environments.
Proficiency with Git/ClearCase or equivalent version control systems.
Solid debugging skills.
