Key Responsibilities
Plan daily cutting activities based on the production schedule.
Coordinate with PPC, Merchandising, Fabric Store, and Sewing departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
Verify fabric availability, shade segregation, shrinkage reports, and inspection status before cutting.
Ensure correct marker utilization and fabric lay planning to maximize fabric consumption.
Supervise fabric spreading, marker placement, and cutting operations.
Ensure cut panels match approved patterns, measurements, and specifications.
Monitor cutting quality and prevent defects such as mismatched panels, incorrect notches, and size variations.
Ensure bundle numbering, ticketing, and traceability are maintained throughout the process.
Control fabric consumption and minimize wastage by monitoring marker efficiency.




Maintain daily production reports, fabric consumption reports, rejection reports, and cutting efficiency records.
Coordinate with the Quality team to address cutting-related quality issues.
Ensure all cutting machines and equipment are properly maintained and operated safely.
Implement 5S, housekeeping, and workplace safety standards in the cutting department.
Train, guide, and supervise cutting room operators, spreaders, helpers, and supervisors.
Monitor departmental productivity and take corrective actions to meet production targets.
Ensure timely delivery of cut bundles to the sewing department.
