Job Summary:
The Store Officer is responsible for managing day-to-day store operations including receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods. The role ensures compliance with GMP, safety, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle receipt, inspection, and storage of raw materials (RM), packing materials (PM), and finished goods (FG)
Maintain proper documentation such as GRN, stock registers, bin cards, and ERP entries
Ensure material issuance to production as per requirement following FIFO/FEFO system
Monitor inventory levels and maintain minimum stock to avoid shortages
Perform physical stock verification and reconcile system vs physical stock regularly
Maintain proper labeling, storage conditions, and housekeeping in the store area
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and QA departments for smooth operations
Handle rejected, expired, or damaged materials as per SOP
Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and audit requirements
Prepare reports related to inventory, consumption, and stock status
Required Skills:
Inventory Management & Store Operations
Knowledge of GMP & documentation practices
ERP/SAP knowledge (preferred)
FIFO / FEFO system understanding
Positive communication & coordination skills
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP systems)
Qualification:
Any Graduate ( B.Com preferred)
Diploma/Degree in Material Management or Supply Chain (added advantage)
