Role & responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting governance.

• Prepare and review consolidated and plant-wise MIS reports, management dashboards, and detailed variance analysis for senior leadership.

• Manage recurring journal entries, accruals, lease accounting, intercompany transactions, and ensure timely and accurate financial close.

• Perform detailed General Ledger scrutiny and balance sheet reviews to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance of financial records.

• Oversee intercompany reconciliations, lease schedules, fixed asset accounting, and reconciliation of FAR with ERP/SAP records.

• Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable movements, ageing reports, advances,



and related reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Coordinate soft-close activities, governance reviews, issue trackers, and cross-functional stakeholder discussions to drive timely resolution of financial matters.

• Liaise with statutory auditors and Financial Due Diligence (FDD) teams, prepare financial statements, audit schedules, and resolve audit queries.

• Collaborate with global finance teams, particularly US stakeholders, to support reporting, reconciliations, management reviews, and ad-hoc financial analysis.

• Lead and mentor finance team members, review deliverables, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvement and automation initiatives.

SAP knowledge will be preferred.
