:

As a SALT Flow-Through Tax Senior Staff, you will have the chance to:
Perform a detailed technical review of partnership state tax returns and work papers with attention to multistate tax issues such as allocation, apportionment, state modifications, nexus, unitary/ non-unitary filings, and flow-through/ Pass-through taxation.
Perform detailed review of estimated payment and withholding calculations and related filings.
Assist with engagement workflow management and supervising tax Staff on assigned engagements.
Assist with various tax projects including research for tax planning.
Identify the open items and communicate with the Manager.
Researching state tax legislation and assisting with impact on compliance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in accounting (B. Com, MBA, M. Com)
CPA, EA (or in process of pursuing) or CPA eligible strongly preferred
Four (4) years’ tax experience in an accounting firm required
Experience with pass-through entities and partnerships strongly preferred




Proven engagement and staff management skills
Effective writing, communication, and tax research skills
Experience with tax technology a plus
Research and consult on complex tax matters
Coach and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment
