JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Complying with all legal requirements stated by the drug controller’s office, India
Monitoring daily/periodic quality control within predetermined limits
Stock taking,



placing indents and maintaining stock register for blood bank.
Ensuring maintenance of all relevant documentation
Performing and assisting routine blood bank procedures.
Ensuring that preventive/ corrective maintenance and calibration of equipment is done, as and when required
Ensuring optimum calibration of reagents
Validating test results
Assisting in revising existing and introducing new standard operating procedures
Participating in teaching programs of hospital/ laboratory.
Findings ways of reducing expenses.
Ensuring that the blood bank premises are kept clean and donor friendly at all times.
Demonstrating skilled conduct and interpersonal communication skills with patients, laboratory personnel, other health care professionals, and with the public.
Applying basic scientific principles in learning recent techniques and procedures.
Exploring possibilities of adding current services in the blood bank.
