symplr is looking for a Quality Engineering Manager to drive the quality initiatives for symplr products. The Quality Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of quality engineers. By working closely with engineering as well as center of excellence team, they will be responsible for devising and implementing test strategy for regression, UI &API; automation as well as load & performance testing efforts for their product.
Duties & Responsibilities

Work closely with engineering and product teams to drive quality engineering initiatives for the product
Directly manage a team of quality engineers in Bangalore as well as remotely.
Work closely with onshore quality team to align on the quality strategy and execution.
Work with globally dispersed teams and stakeholders to ensure features are released on time with highest quality.
Provide technical direction to both onshore and offshore quality engineers executing test strategy
Drive the test automation efforts for their product
Work with the performance testing team to ensure the product is tested for load, stress and endurance
Analyze test results, communicate issues and report any defects
Escalate risks and dependencies encountered during testing process
Understand quality metrics and drive positive changes based on the metrics

Strong technical and analytical skills with good understanding of how web and mobile application stacks work
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
10+ years’ experience in software quality engineering
3+ years of leading and managing quality teams
Experience working in an agile workplace with distributed engineering teams
Experience with testing tools like Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, Postman, JMeter, ReadyAPI
Experience with languages like C#, Java, Ruby, Typescript etc.
Experience testing web services (REST, SOAP etc.)
Experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps, Zephyr etc.
