As a Data Engineer, the candidate should possess robust expertise in Data analysis, Data Integration , Data transformation and ETL skills required to perform the role. Also he/she should possess the relevant domain experience in Banking (Finance & Risk).
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis, Data transformation of the back-end of an application
Performance of the dataset according to consumption methods
Data modeling exposure with strong SQL knowledge
Robust hands-on ETL IBM Datastage pipelines development, testing and support.
Good programming / scripting in UNIX (bash) skills for development
Good Knowledge of understanding Data warehouse & Data Integration techniques.




Application performance tuning to optimize resource and time utilization.
Create data integration and technical solutions for the customer applications.
Detail oriented with good problem solving, organizational, analysis, highly motivated and adaptive with the ability to grasp things quickly.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team and individually with excellent interpersonal, technical and communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree ( Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics) • relevant experience
Agile / Scrum development experience
Track record in building larger corporate systems.
ETL IBM Datastage
Linux (bash) scripting capabilities.
Oracle RDBMS 12c or higher.
Oracle PLSQL experience in handling procedures and functions.
Data Modeling knowledge & awareness
Preferred Qualifications/skills:
We appreciate candidate to have knowledge of the following:
Azure cloud knowledge or experience
Python scripting, Data pipeline processing
Experience in Banking Financial systems (Risk & Finance)
Knowledge / experience in Hadoop, Hive data processing.
