Job description

A field recruiter's job is to find potential candidates for a company, and to help ensure that the company's hiring goals are met. They may also represent the company at job fairs and trade shows.

Responsibilities

·Recruiting : Attract candidates through social media, qualified networks, and other channels

·Screening : Review resumes and applications, and screen candidates

·Interviewing : Conduct interviews with applicants

·Negotiating : Negotiate job offers and compensation packages with candidates

·Planning : Develop and implement recruitment strategies

·Networking : Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates, industry contacts, and colleges

·Job fairs : Represent the company at job fairs and trade shows

·Hiring goals : Work with the HR office to refine hiring goals

·Job postings : Maintain job postings on career pages and other employment websites

·Offer letters : Create offer letters

·Travel : Coordinate candidate interviews and travel, and manage related expenses

Field recruiters may also identify current resources to drive candidate identification and attraction.
