Position: Area Sales Manager

Location: Delhi & Haryana

Salary: ₹5,00,000 – ₹8,00,000 per annum

About the Role

Saburi Plywoods is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive business growth across Delhi and Haryana. The ideal candidate should possess strong market knowledge, dealer/distributor network management experience, and a proven track record in sales within the plywood or building materials industry.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Appoint, manage, and strengthen dealer and distributor networks within the assigned territory.
Identify current business opportunities and expand market penetration.
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, architects, contractors, builders, and channel partners.
Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
Ensure effective product placement, branding, and visibility across the territory.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order processing and customer satisfaction.
Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and territory performance reports.




Monitor collections and ensure timely payment recovery from customers.
Participate in exhibitions, dealer meets, and promotional activities whenever required.

Requirements

Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate in any discipline. MBA (Marketing) will be an added advantage.
4–6 years of sales experience, preferably in the Plywood Industry.
Candidates from the Building Materials industry (Laminates, MDF, Hardware, Decorative Products, Paints, Tiles, Sanitaryware, Cement, Steel, etc.) may also be considered.
Strong dealer and distributor management experience.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Good knowledge of the Delhi & Haryana market.
Proficient in MS Office and sales reporting.
