We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll & Compliance to manage end-to-end payroll processing and statutory compliance activities. The role requires ensuring accurate payroll administration, adherence to labor laws, statutory filings, and compliance requirements applicable to manufacturing and aerospace/defence operations.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
Process monthly payroll for employees, workers, and contractual staff.
Maintain employee payroll records, attendance, leave, overtime, and shift data.
Verify payroll inputs, deductions, reimbursements, incentives, and bonuses.
Generate salary statements, payslips, payroll reports, and MIS reports.
Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement and reconciliation.
Handle full and final settlements, gratuity, leave encashment, and separation payroll.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure timely compliance with:
Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPF)
Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC)
Qualified Tax (where applicable)
Labour Welfare Fund
TDS on salaries
Bonus and Gratuity regulations
Prepare and submit statutory returns within prescribed timelines.
Coordinate inspections and audits by government authorities.
Maintain statutory registers, records, and compliance documentation.
Labour Law Compliance
Ensure compliance with:
Factories Act
Shops & Establishments Act
Payment of Wages Act
Minimum Wages Act
Payment of Bonus Act
Payment of Gratuity Act
Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
Industrial Relations and labour compliance requirements
Liaise with contractors regarding labor compliance documentation.
Audit & Documentation
Support internal, statutory, labour, and customer audits.
Maintain compliance trackers and documentation records.
Prepare reports for management review and regulatory audits.
Ensure confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
