Position: Sales Head / VP Sales

Location: Recent Delhi (Head Office) with Pan-India Travel

Reporting To: Promoters / Management

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Market Development
Develop and execute the overall sales strategy across target markets and regions.
Establish strong brand and product presence in a highly competitive market.
Identify and prioritize new geographies, channels, and growth prospects.

Distribution & Channel Management
Build, manage, and expand distributor, wholesaler, and retail networks.
Ensure product availability, visibility, and market penetration across regions.
Drive channel performance and strengthen trade partnerships.

Team Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing sales team across multiple regions.
Establish KPIs, sales targets, and incentive programs.
Coach, mentor, and develop future sales leaders.

Revenue Ownership
Own sales revenue, volume, and market share targets.
Track performance against business objectives and implement corrective actions where required.




Present business reviews and growth strategies to promoters and senior management.

Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
Provide market insights and demand forecasts to support production and procurement planning.

Candidate Profile

Must-Have Experience
Proven success in developing sales strategies and establishing market presence.
Strong experience in cigarette, tobacco, or other regulated FMCG categories .
Demonstrated expertise in building and managing large distribution networks.
Experience leading regional or national sales teams and driving revenue growth.

Preferred Background
Currently or previously worked as VP Sales, National Sales Head, Sales Director, or Business Head in a tobacco or related FMCG organization.
Existing relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and trade partners across key markets.
Solid understanding of tobacco trade dynamics, distributor economics, and regulatory considerations.
