IMS Ship Management Private Limited ( is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Accounts to independently manage accounting, statutory compliance, taxation, payroll and banking operations.

Compensation: Up to ₹5,00,000 per annum, based on experience and merit

Reporting To: Directors / CFO

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts

• Review purchase, sales, expense and journal entries

• Manage quarterly and annual book closures

• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations and ledger scrutiny

• Prepare GST returns and TDS workings, ensuring timely compliance

• Handle income-tax documentation, assessments and departmental notices

• Manage banking transactions, fund transfers and bank reconciliations

• Monitor cash flow and working capital

• Ensure timely statutory payments and filings

• Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, auditors and consultants

• Manage vendor payments, customer collections and ageing analysis

• Process payroll and verify statutory deductions and reimbursements

• Ensure applicable PF, ESIC, Professional Tax and labour-law compliance

Candidate Profile





• B.Com or M.Com

• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Experience independently managing the complete accounting function

• Prior experience in project accounting will be an advantage

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS and Income Tax

• Basic understanding of the Companies Act

• Proficiency in Tally Prime, advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office
