About the Role

We are looking for a energetic and relationship-driven Sales Manager to drive sales for a leading contemporary art gallery across India and beyond. Working closely with the Associate Director of Sales, you will cultivate existing collector relationships, build new ones, and open emerging art markets in key cities across the country and internationally.

What You Will Do
Build relationships with collectors, patrons, and institutional buyers in recent markets across India and abroad
Manage the full sales cycle from first client engagement to artwork sale and after-sales support
Represent the gallery at art events, private previews, and client meetings across India
Plan and execute satellite exhibitions, trunk shows, and private viewings in key cities
Develop marketing material and artist dossiers tailored to different markets and audiences
Maintain accurate client records and follow up consistently to build long-term relationships
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets aligned with the gallery's growth goals
Provide market feedback to guide pricing, artist exposure, and programming strategy
Coordinate with operations and marketing teams for smooth execution of offsite events and deliveries

What We Are Looking For




4 to 6 years of experience in art sales, luxury sales, or high-end client servicing
Bachelor's degree in Art History, Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred)
Comfortable engaging with HNI collectors and discerning clientele
Existing network of collectors, patrons, or institutional buyers is a strong advantage
Genuine interest in contemporary art — non-negotiable
Robust communicator with natural relationship-building skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously
Willing to travel across India regularly
Based in Delhi or willing to relocate to Vasant Vihar
