Role Description The Farm Manager role at Leafactory is a full-time, in office position based in Kozhikode. The Farm Manager oversees daily farm operations, including planning and supervising cultivation, propagation, and maintenance of aquatic plant stock. Responsibilities include monitoring plant health, coordinating irrigation schedules, managing resources and inventory, and ensuring pest-free, high-quality output. The role involves supervising farm workers, organizing work schedules, maintaining safety and hygiene standards, and implementing efficient farm management practices. The Farm Manager also collaborates with leadership on production planning, quality improvements,



and meeting wholesale order requirements.

Qualifications
Strong farm management skills, including experience overseeing Farms and coordinating Farm Management activities.
Applied knowledge of Agriculture practices with exposure to aquatic or specialized crop systems.
Practical experience with Irrigation systems and water management tailored to plant health and productivity.
Background working with Poultry or other livestock operations is a plus, demonstrating broader farm operations experience.
Relevant education in agriculture, horticulture, aquaculture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to lead and train farm staff, organize workflows, and maintain safe working conditions.
Solid problem-solving, record-keeping, and basic computer skills to track production and inventory.
Willingness to work on-site in Kozhikode and adapt to seasonal and operational demands.

Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience managing a nursery, greenhouse, or agricultural farm.
