Summary Description The Content Designer (ELA, Math) applies subject matter knowledge and instructional design principles to develop and revise digital instructional materials and supporting materials. The materials created range from writing manuscripts to creating videos.

Essential Job Functions
Understand and apply educational research, pedagogy, subject matter expertise, and instructional design principles to create instructional videos.
Review product features against guidelines for consistency in curriculum design.
Make sure activity design has adequate white space and hierarchy to clearly display content.
Collaborate with Content Producer Lead to plan and execute on project workflow and schedules.
Work with Content Producer Lead to create consistency in design of the product.
Produce high quality work to schedule.
Support the discovery and integration of AI tools and technologies to enhance our creative processes, drive efficiency and optimize workflows
Ability to multi-task and meet the needs of current projects that arise.
Other duties as required.





Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communication, or Design and 2 years of Curriculum Development, educational publishing, or instructional design experience;
or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills
Classroom teaching experience either online or in-person and knowledge of online learning activities and the education market preferred.
Excellent presentation skills, and desire to learn recent tools for producing content.
Skilled in PowerPoint and specifically animations and templates.
Ability to support learning through content design.

Robust attention to detail and demonstrated understanding of clean design - hierarchy and layout.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and create quality products.
