Job Description:

A Manager of HEMM (Hauling, Excavating, Mining Machinery) in coal mining is responsible for the productive and protected operation of all mining equipment. This includes overseeing maintenance, repairs, and utilization of HEMM to ensure production targets are met and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
HEMM Management:
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and utilization of all mining equipment, including trucks, excavators, loaders, and other related machinery.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, conduct regular inspections, and implement preventive measures to mitigate hazards.
Production Planning:
Collaborate with other departments to meet production targets and optimize HEMM utilization.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and lead a team of engineers, technicians, and operators, providing guidance and training.
Cost Control:




Monitor and manage HEMM-related costs, including maintenance, fuel, and repairs.
Performance Monitoring:
Track HEMM performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit reports on HEMM performance, maintenance activities, and safety incidents.

Key Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field is generally required.
Experience:
Several years of experience in HEMM management, preferably in a coal mining workplace, is expected.
Certifications:
Possession of relevant certifications, such as a Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency (if required by regulations), can be beneficial.
