DevOps / Cloud Engineer (Cloud Platform, Automation & Reliability)

Overview:

We are looking for a highly capable DevOps / Cloud Engineer to build and operate a world-class cloud foundation for our platform. This role is critical to ensuring secure deployments, platform reliability, operational visibility, and scalable delivery across environments. You will own cloud automation, release engineering, infrastructure resilience, and production readiness for a high-availability business platform.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering
Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure for application hosting, networking, storage, and secure service communication
Define workplace strategy across development, testing, staging, and production
Establish infrastructure standards for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency

Release Engineering & Automation
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Bicep
Standardize release processes, deployment controls, and rollback strategies

Application Hosting & Reliability
Manage deployment platforms such as Azure App Service and Azure Functions




Ensure high availability, service monitoring, alerting, and operational readiness
Support performance tuning, incident handling, and environment optimization

Database Operations & Platform Stability
Define backup, recovery, and deployment strategy for relational databases
Support secure database releases and workplace consistency
Ensure observability across infrastructure, applications, and data flows

Security & Operational Excellence
Implement secure access controls, secrets management, and environment governance
Strengthen logging, monitoring, and auditability
Contribute to disaster recovery readiness and platform resilience

Qualifications
3 to 6 years experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform operations
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and deployment architecture
Strong CI/CD automation capability using Azure DevOps
Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and release reliability
Database deployment and backup strategy understanding
Strong ownership mindset with product reliability focus
