Key Responsibilities
Technical Conversion: Review 2D/3D design layouts (kitchens, wardrobes, vanity units) and convert them into highly accurate manufacturing drawings and modular cutlists.
BOM & Hardware Generation: Extract a detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) detailing exactly what board types (MDF, HDF, Plywood), laminates, edge bands, and hardware (hinges, channels, handles) are required for each project.
Material Optimization (Nesting): Run optimization software to generate productive nesting layouts, maximizing sheet utilization and keeping raw material wastage to an absolute minimum.
Factory Coordination: Coordinate closely with the CNC machine operators and production supervisors to resolve any technical ambiguities before cutting begins.
Quality & Error Control: Conduct strict cross-checks between design files and cutlists to ensure there are zero discrepancies in dimensions, grain direction, edge-banding thickness, or boring details.
Standardization: Help update and maintain the company's modular component library (carcass standards, shutter sizes, hardware deductions).
