Senior Associate - Finance at ZET:

Role Overview: We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage the end-to-end controllership of the companys books of accounts. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting & tax regulations, and maintaining robust internal controls. This role provides an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in financial controllership, direct & indirect taxation.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, etc.).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations (Bank, Debtors, Creditors).
Ensure proper revenue recognition, expense accounting, and accruals.
Direct & Indirect Taxation Compliance:
Deep knowledge of Income Tax laws, including TDS provisions, advance tax, and tax return filings.
Ensure accurate TDS deduction, deposit, and TDS return filing (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, etc.).
Handle GST compliance GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, and annual returns.
Manage tax assessments, notices,



and audits (Income Tax & GST).
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure compliance.
Statutory Compliance & Audit:
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
Assist in tax filings, assessments, and audits (Internal, Statutory, Tax).
Liaise with auditors (internal/external) and ensure timely completion of audits.
Maintain documentation for audit trails and internal controls.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
Implement and monitor internal financial controls to prevent errors and fraud.
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation/improvements in accounting & tax processes.
Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications & Skills:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
Solid knowledge of Accounting Standards, Companies Act, Auditing Standards, and Tax laws.
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (Zoho Books/Tally).
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership potential.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage deadlines.
Accustomed to dealing with ambiguity in a quick-paced setting
