Role & responsibilities:
To set up machine by attaching dialyzer and tubing.
To receive patient and check weight and vital signs.
To explain procedure and operations of dialysis machine and answer patient queries.
To carry out procedure and monitor patient.
Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of dialysis equipment.
To record post dialysis weight and vital signs of patients.
To provide information to patient about dialysis.
To inform consultants about any adverse reactions.
To follow biomedical waste protocol.
To clean and sterilize all the tubings.
To document case sheets properly.
To maintain discipline and valuable inter personal relations
To coordinate with other staff in the ward / unit.
Participate in hospital quality improvement activities.
Equipment operation and equipment safety.
Mandate Registration in the diploma dialysis.
Robust technical aptitude for operating medical equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
