Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Linux System Administrator with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in managing LAMP-based environments and automation. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) settings for optimal performance and uptime.
Monitor infrastructure using tools like Zabbix or Nagios, and respond to incidents proactively.
Develop and implement security measures using ModSecurity, fail2ban, and firewall configurations.
Automate routine server-side tasks using Bash or Python scripting.
Administer and troubleshoot Postfix mail servers.




Handle MySQL database management, including crash recovery and performance tuning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Ops, Dev, BI, Infra) to streamline deployment and monitoring.
Implement and manage configuration management tools like Ansible, SaltStack, or Chef.
Ensure 24x7 system availability and implement disaster recovery strategies.
Evaluate and integrate DevOps tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure and development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in Linux system administration.
Robust expertise in LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
Proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting for automation.
Experience with Postfix, Zabbix, Nagios, and firewall/IPTables configuration.
Familiarity with Ansible, SaltStack, or Chef.
Solid understanding of networking protocols and cloud/on-prem infrastructure.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
